Privacy Policy

We built ProcessRaven to be simple and self-contained. That philosophy extends to how we handle your data.

Plain-language summary: ProcessRaven.tech is a static website. We do not run advertising, sell data, or require account creation. The only personal data we receive is what you voluntarily submit via the contact form.

1. Who we are

ProcessRaven ("ProcessRaven", "we", "us", "our") operates the website at processraven.tech and distributes the ProcessRaven Incident Management software product from the United States. For GDPR purposes, ProcessRaven is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

We collect the absolute minimum necessary to operate this website and fulfil product purchases.

The ProcessRaven software product itself (the downloaded HTML file) runs entirely offline in your browser. It collects no data, makes no network requests, and transmits nothing to us or any third party.

3. Contact form data

When you submit the contact form on this website, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is:

  • Used solely to respond to your enquiry or process your request.
  • Not shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your request (for example, routing a customization enquiry to a relevant team member).
  • Retained for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted unless we have a legal obligation to retain it longer.
  • Never used for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

The lawful basis for processing contact form submissions is legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry) under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK/EU GDPR.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking scripts.

If we use analytics, it is configured with IP anonymisation enabled and data retention set to the shortest available period. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.

Essential session cookies (if any) are strictly necessary for the website to function and do not require your consent under applicable law.

5. How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to contact form enquiries and support requests.
  • Deliver purchased products and issue transaction receipts.

8. Your CCPA rights (California residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA grants you the following rights:

  • Right to know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how it was used or shared.
  • Right to delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. No opt-out is necessary.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, email info@processraven.tech with the subject line "CCPA Request". We will respond within 45 days.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law:

  • Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months from receipt.
  • Transaction records: up to 7 years for financial and legal compliance purposes.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days, then automatically purged.

You may request early deletion at any time by contacting us.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This includes encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@processraven.tech.

11. Children's privacy

ProcessRaven.tech is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where required by law, we will provide more prominent notice of significant changes. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
